VAFS Redux - Bullet Time
VAFS Redux - Bullet Time and Manual Critical is an extensive mod designed for My Fallout 4. As stated in the title of this review, this mod will give you the feel of shooting combat while playing as a VATS robot. There are two versions of the mod available: one with the Vanilla VATS and one that come with Bullet Time. This mod was made by Itzalongs, who is known for his excellent VATS mods. The reason I chose VAFS Redux over other similar mods is because it has been created by someone who actually uses and plays as a VATS robot in-game and not just some dude sitting in front of a computer.
While using VAFS Redux you will notice that using both your fists and your guns will produce different results. For instance, using both fist and gun at the same time will cause your character to do a quick reload and firing rapidly. This makes reloading much more difficult and will often times result in a death. However, using only one tool at a time will cause your character to reload much more slowly and will cause less damage as well.
One of the best features of VAFS Redux - Bullet Time is the fact that is has been created for people who are used to playing games on computers where using VATS shotgun or crossbow would be extremely advantageous. In this version of VAFS Redux - bullet time has been made for use with the console controller. That being said, using the controller will still add an extra element of difficulty and excitement to the game. If you are looking for a mod that is relatively easy to install and use but offers a unique experience when used with the game's controller then VAFS Redux - Bullet Time is the perfect mod for you.
